The premise of this one-act play is that of a reality-based talent show, much like American Idol. It is the final show of the season in Fantasia. There are four entries left to show their Mundane Tales, spoofs that feature a distinctly different moral or lesson to live by. Each play within the play has its own characteristic “flavour” – where each play follows a very different, particular genre. Two of the four “mini-plays” feature song and dance.
