One-Act Plays for Teens and Adults Written by WARD NORCUTT

A Staged Reading

The play to be read is Macabre Park – a new murder mystery by first time playwright, Trenton Ellis. The series of events takes place in MacArthur Park, an upscale and very old Mansion at 41 Riverside Drive, Manhattan, overlooking the Hudson River. It is the first staged reading of the play and different from the script they rehearsed with just the day before – as the playwright made several edits after the last rehearsal and had some serious difficulties during the final printing.  The cast get their scripts at the very last possible moment and proceed to do their very best.
